ABSTRACT

Originated from Western China Borderlands Studies School，Western China Borderlands Studies Reviewwas launched in 2014 by keeping faith with its academic inheritance of Study for the Country.As a new Borderlands Study journal，the first five issues of our journal include research findings and translations on borderlands studies of foreign and domestic experts and scholors，promoting academic exchanges，training new talents，creating platforms for collegues at home and abroad，marking a new stage in Chinese borderlands studies.Standing the test of time，our journal has won the approval of our collegues. According to the development of the times and the principle and requirement of the new editorial committee，Western China Borderlands Studies Review will include all the aspects such as borderland discipline construction，borderland theory，borderland history and geography，borderland econormy，borderland governance，borderland security，borderland reality，borderland culture，religion，national language and literature. At the same time，our journal will pay attenion to the column on the interview with borderlands scholors，book review，borderland forum and so on，for researchers and readers.The sixth issue of Western China Borderlands Studies Review includes the column of features，borderland discipline，borderland history and geography，borderland econormy，the interview with borderlands scholor，book review，which reflect the intention of our journal.
