In this chapter we've practiced a lot and have learned the basics of the Scribus tools and workflow. We have tried to show the relationship between the tools and the Properties Palette.
Specifically, we covered:
- Creating new documents and managing document properties
- Inserting and importing object and content into the document
- Transforming the objects we've inserted with resize, scale, and rotate actions
- Changing the aspect of the object and of the content
The elements in this chapter were the prerequisites for the next chapters, in which we'll go deeper and deeper into the available options. Let's begin with page handling in the next chapter.
